How to create a digital invitation, step by step
Gather your details, choose a design and prepare a link to share your celebration with the people you love.

At a glance
To create a digital invitation, gather the date, time and location, choose a design, personalize the wording and photos, check your links and publish. In Invitevent, saving is manual and RSVPs are handled through an external link.
1. Gather the important details
Before choosing colors, write down the event name, date, time and location. If your ceremony and party take place at different venues, give each its own address and start time so guests know exactly where to go.
Think about what guests need to know before leaving home. A short note about dress code, access or parking can prevent a lot of questions. Keep the invitation focused on information that helps people attend.
2. Choose a design that fits the occasion
An intimate wedding and a colorful birthday can tell very different stories. Look for typography, a palette and a background that suit your celebration without making the details harder to read.

3. Make the words and photos your own
Start with a short, welcoming message. You do not need a long introduction: names, a personal line and the details of the gathering are often enough.
If you add a cover photo, check the crop in the mobile preview. Choose a clear image and keep important faces away from the edges. Turn off any sections you do not need.
4. Decide how guests will RSVP
If you need attendance confirmations, prepare an external link, such as WhatsApp or a form. Invitevent does not collect responses at this stage: guests reply through the destination you choose.
A reply deadline can help with planning. Open your RSVP link on another device before sending the invitation.
5. Review, save and share
Read the preview as if you were a guest. Check the date, time, addresses and links. Save your changes manually; there is no autosave.
Publishing requires complete essential details and a verified email address. Once published, share the link through your preferred channel. Anyone who receives it can open and forward it, so avoid including sensitive information.
- Try the invitation on a phone.
- Check the location and RSVP links.
- If you make changes later, publish them again.
